Champlain 75 – Edouard-Montpetit 81 (Game Stats)
The Cavaliers started 2013 with a tenuous hold on the 6th and final play-off spot. Their first match of the 2nd half had the Cavs hosting Edouard-Montpetit last Friday night. The game was a scrappy affair, with both teams looking rusty after their holiday break. The Cavs came up short, losing 81-75. Jeanne Gaumont led the Cavaliers with 21 points. Jennifer Mathurin had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Champlain 76 – Ste-Foy 55  (Game Stats)
The 4-6 Cavaliers (#6 in RSEQ) headed up to Ste-Foy to take on the 10-1 Dynamiques last Sunday. In one of their best games ever, the Cavaliers did what they had never done before – they defeated Ste-Foy 76-55. The Cavaliers kept up a tremendous level of play that did not let up – it was a true team effort with the starters and bench pulling their weight. Four Cavaliers scored in double-digits: Jessica Fequiere had a monster game with 28 points and 10 rebounds and Jennifer Mathurin had 17 points in the win.
