
Champlain 78 – Edouard-Montpetit 83 (OT) (Game Stats)
On January 25th, the 11-2 Cavaliers (#1 RSEQ / #11 CCAA) were upset on their home court 83-78 by College Edouard-Montpetit. The Cavaliers were down by 13 points with just over 2 minutes to play and managed to force an overtime period where their late game heroics fell just short. They were led by Kenny Jean-Louis with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Nolan Woodward chipped in with 20 points and 7 rebounds.
Champlain 86 – Ste-Foy 79 (2 x OT) (Game Stats)
On Sunday the Cavaliers (11-3) travelled to Quebec City to take on CEGEP Ste- Foy (10-3) in a battle of the top two teams in the RSEQ. At stake – sole possession of first place (credit heather). This game was close from start to finish and went into double overtime, with the Cavaliers making a huge statement on the road and winning this war of attrition. Once again they were led by Kenny Jean-Louis who had 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. David Belanger chipped in with a double-double of his own with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Cavaliers now get 12 days off to prepare for their next game at Dawson on February 8th.
