After finishing atop the league standings with an 8-1-1 regular-season record, the Cavaliers added a provincial crown to their regular-season title.
The championship marks the program’s eighth RSEQ provincial gold medal, further cementing Champlain’s place among Quebec’s premier collegiate soccer programs.
Individually, Elliot Viel was named the RSEQ Championship Most Valuable Player, while Viel, Adam Allou, Rayen Kharroubi, and Hunter Renaud were all selected to the RSEQ Championship All-Star Team. Their play reflected the depth that fueled the Cavaliers’ championship run over the weekend
With the victory, the Cavaliers have earned a berth at the 2026 CCAA Men’s Soccer National Championship, hosted by the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Alberta, from November 11-14. The appearance will mark the Cavaliers’ third consecutive trip to nationals and fourth national championship appearance since 2019. During that span, the Cavaliers have captured two CCAA bronze medals and one CCAA silver medal, establishing themselves as one of the country’s premier collegiate soccer programs.
Congratulations to the team and best of luck in Edmonton!
