The 2024-25 RSEQ Division 1 Basketball leagues showcased incredible talent over this past season, with our student-athletes leaving it all on the court. As the season comes to a close, we are proud to recognize the outstanding individuals who have excelled and earned a place among the league’s elite.

Jack Robinson | RSEQ Academic All-Star (Men’s Basketball)
In addition, annual awards are also awarded, as voted on by the members of the league. The recipients from the Cavaliers for 2024-25 are:
2024-25 RSEQ Player of the Year | Women’s Basketball – Anaïs Levasseur
Anaïs is a 3rd year seni0r with the Cavaliers, winning the RSEQ Rookie of the Year, as well as being a 2nd Team All-Star in her 1st year on the team in 2022-23. She helped the team win a provincial gold in 2023-24 and the team’s first medal at nationals, bronze, also in 2023-24. Averaging 13.8 points/game and 3.4 assists/game this year, she led the Cavaliers to a 13-1 record and 1 1st place finish in the regular season. Congratulations Anaïs!
2024-25 RSEQ Coach of the Year | Women’s Basketball – Georges Germanos
This is Coach Germanos’ 3rd title as Coach of the Year over the past 4 years. Georges who’s been with the Cavaliers in a head coach position since 2003, has seen the team grow under his stewardship from their first year in D1 in 2007-08 when they started with a 3-17 record to where they are today, one of the top programs in Quebec and Canada. With a 13-1 season, and being ranked within the top 5 in Canada all season, it’s been a great year so far for Coach Germanos and his team. Congratualtions and well-done!
