Champlain Cavaliers > Cavaliers News > 2 Cavaliers Awarded FAEQ Bursaries for 2021

Amélie Beaudet-Gaudette from the Women’s Soccer team and Antoine Massoud from Men’s Soccer have been selected as recipients for the 2021 Recruiting Bursary from La Fondation de l’Athlète d’Excellence du Québec. With the goal of encouraging our student-athletes to continue their post-secondary studies and their playing careers in Québec, the FAEQ presents 20 of these bursaries annually. Receiving $1000 a year for up to  3 years, the bursaries are awarded to student-athletes recruited to colleges in the RSEQ Division 1 sports of basketball, football, hockey, soccer and volleyball. Over the past 4 years, eight Cavaliers have been recipients of the FAEQ recruitment bursary.

Both Amélie and Antoine are in their first semesters of study of Pure & Applied Science and now have their first year of competition at the CEGEP level under their belts. Congratulations to both Amélie and Antoine on their selections and to their future successes as Cavaliers!
