The Quebec Rugby Federation held an Identification Camp for Quebec Women’s Rugby in mid-January and the Cavaliers were well represented as 6 ladies from the squad were in attendance. The Cavaliers that were there to showcase their skills were: Marley Chase, Casey Benoit, Gina L. Patenaude, Rachel Ten Eyck, Catherine Alain and Ophelie Lacasse. Hopefully some of them will be playing for Team Quebec this year and bringing back that experience to the others on the team.
In other Rugby news, Rachel Ten Eyck was invited to play with Team Quebec at the New York 7s Tournament back in November 2013, and as a member of the squad, they won the Championship in the Girls U-18 Division! great job to Rachel and to everyone who represented the Cavaliers at the ID Camp!
