The Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers Women’s Cross-Country Running team finished 6th place overall at this year’s Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association’s 2018 National Championships this past weekend at Seneca College just outside of Toronto, Ontario.

Samantha FloodAll-Canadian Samantha Flood finished in 4th place overall, just shy of a podium. The first-year student from Brossard, Québec finished the race with a time of 24:00 flat, just 16 seconds off of the 3rd place time.

Along with Flood (24:00, 2 team PTS), Cavalier racers were Catherine Boilard (26:22, 26 team PTS), Audrey Théberge (26:46, 36 team PTS) and Mathilde Parent (27:13, 47 team PTS). The team of all first-year students gave the Cavaliers a total of 111 pts, good for 6th place in Canada. With such a young team and such a good showing this year, the Cavaliers are sure to be back in the hunt in 2019!
